St. Claret College (SCC) was established in 2005 by the international Missionary Congregation of Claretians and manages two universities and over 150 educational institutions in 66 countries around the world. The Bengaluru campus is managed by the Claretian educational society established to provide holistic and quality education to the people in and around North Bangalore.

Library:

It provides authentic and reliable sources of information for learners, research scholars, faculty, and staff from all disciplines.

SCC library is housed on the first floor and has two separate sections for UG and PG. The library has academic resources such as books, magazines, journals, encyclopedias, databases, e-resources, back volumes, CDs/DVDs, project reports, audio/video cassettes, rare books, question banks, Plagiarism tool- Turnitin and facilities for browsing e-resources. Through the completely automated library management system, users can access library resources without any hassle. The library provides spacious seating arrangements and a serene ambiance for learning. Trained and committed library staff provide adequate support to the academic community.

Computer lab:

There are three computer labs in the college building of which one is an interactive language lab. The institute owns 572 computers-221 Desktops and 351 Laptops-with advanced configuration to support student learning.

Cafeteria:

SCC has an open Kiosk surrounded by greenery, which is not only a place serving refreshments and delicious food with a wide variety of menu at an affordable price, but it is a place of hustle and bustle, where the students enjoy their refreshments and also spend time by socializing with their peers. The campus also has a spacious canteen facility providing a variety of nutritious and hygienic food, snacks, and beverages.

Sports And Games:

The Physical Education department of St. Claret College, led by Dr. Muniraju M.G., is dedicated to providing students with numerous opportunities to discover and demonstrate their physical ability across various indoor and outdoor sports/games.

Students from St. Claret College have represented Bangalore University in a variety of games, earning top ranks and representation in several state and national-level competitions.

Gym:

“A Healthy mind resides in a Healthy Body.” Complying with this saying, SCC has created an environment to take care of the physical well-being of its students and staff by providing a vibrant and well-equipped Gym facility. This would help them healthily channel their energies and also maintain their physique. Membership to the gym may be availed by both students and staff members at a very nominal fee. The gym is supervised by a trained Gym-instructor.

Hostels:

A hostel, as the saying goes, is a home away from home. Hostel rooms create a mini-world for the people who stay there. All hostels are kept clean and safe by taking the necessary precautions. The hostel service is student-friendly and provides them with a sense of belonging.

SCC provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are two hostels for girls, both managed by Rev. Sisters. One, Maria Nilaya, is inside the campus and the other, Monica Study House, is adjacent to the campus. For boys, the college runs a hostel and it has a full-time warden appointed by the college. The students are instructed to uphold college tradition and discipline within the hostel premises. This encourages students to involve themselves in various hostel events leading to their overall growth in all other aspects.

Auditorium, Conference room:

SCC has a multipurpose air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 700.SCC also houses an air-conditioned conference hall with a seating capacity of 160, and two audio-visual rooms with a seating capacity of 80 and 120 respectively.

The luscious green quadrangle with an area of 1146.01 sq.Mts. is a unique attraction of the college, ideal for hosting formal and informal events and gatherings of the college community. Major events such as the Mayurika-inter-college cultural fest, Euphoria- intra-college cultural fest, Alumni Home Coming, Teachers' Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc., are conducted in the quadrangle.
