Stella Mary’s College of Engineering is promoted by the Nova Educational Trust & established by the well-known business entrepreneur of Kanyakumari District, Dr. Nazareth Charles. The university is administered through Nova Educational Trust installed withinside 12 months in 2007, to provide high-quality technical education and research facilities to students across the country.

Special attention is given to designing the classrooms so that our students get effective learning from our teachers and facilitate participative learning. The Classrooms are well-ventilated spacious and are technology-enhanced classrooms referred to as "smart" classrooms. The classrooms are augmented with a variety of technological tools that can enhance the learning environment. These school rooms provide an enhancement to an Extron Touch-Panel Control System (connected to the instructor's desk); a PC; a Data Projector; a DVD/VHS combo unit; and an incorporated audio system. 

Library:

Transport:

The college has its own fleet of Buses on all possible routes making transportation easy for the staff and students from all areas and colonies of the city. In addition, a city bus facility is also available.

Boys Hostel:

The Institute has a separate Boys/Girls hostel that is strategically located to be accessible from all the areas while maintaining a calm and secure environment. Each hostel room can accommodate 3 to 4 students with individual beds, and clean and hygienic restrooms for all the students surrounded by plush greenery. The hostel mess is located inside the hostel premise serving the taste of all cuisines. Each hostel is facilitated with an open playground, private canteen Internet cafes, Gym, Music rooms, Indoor games Room, TV room, STD Booth, a General/Grocery Shop, a recreation hall, and a separate study hall. Both the hostels will deliver a sense of a domestic far from domestic for the students.

Cafeteria:

College Cafeteria is a dynamic and social network dedicated to bringing students, academics, and enterprises together. The canteen provides a platform to unwind, and relax, while at the same time providing an option for purposeful communication. It provides excellent service to the students, providing snacks and food items at a reasonable rate to the students.

Sports Facility:

It is an established fact that for every human being, sports are second to oxygen in maintaining good health leading to a happy life. The position of sports activities has an extensive area amongst different extra-curricular activities. In this regard, the academic institutions act as a nucleus whose impact on youngsters matters a lot in society.

Conference Hall:

a wide range of rooms from state-of-the-art seminar rooms to lecture theatres to exam halls, not forgetting our impressive Drama Theatre. Within these rooms, you will find AV equipment which is of the highest standard.

Seminar Hall:

Air-conditioned seminar halls with a minimum of 150 seating capacity each are available on the campus. They are well-equipped with audio and visual systems. Events such as small meetings and intra-department level seminars/symposia, etc are organized here.

Placement

The Corporate Relations Department is involved in the training and placement of the students. The activities of the Corporate Relations Department mainly aim at improving the students’ employability looking forward to every individual’s career building in total. There is a steady increase in the number of students placed on the campus year by year. In the recruitment drive conducted by the Corporate Relations Department, many companies have newly joined. The average salary earned by the students has also increased. 

Admission

The minimum requirements for admission to B.E. / B.Tech. Programs are +2 pass with an aggregate of 50% marks in Maths, Physics, Chemistry/+2 pass with an aggregate of 50% marks in Maths+ Vocational Subjects,/+2 pass with an aggregate of 40% marks in Maths, Physics, Chemistry,/+2 pass with an aggregate of 40% marks in Maths+ Vocational Subjects,/ Diploma with 55% marks in 5th and 6th semester.
