The School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) was founded by TNDALU, providing comprehensive 5-year and 3-year Honours Degree Courses in Law. Within the framework of SOEL, the institution offers a range of Undergraduate (Hons.) Courses, Postgraduate Courses, and Research Degrees. To further enrich legal education, TNDALU has instituted 9 Specialized Departments in Law.

(Hons.) | Eligibility Criteria: Indian resident candidates should have passed any UG degree with at least 60% SC/ST candidates should have at least 55% NRI candidates should have at least 60% in the qualifying examination Employed candidates or not eligible to apply. Candidates should have obtained a degree or provisional certificate in the qualifying exam at the time of counseling. Selection Criteria: The Rank list and the Cut-Off Marks shall be calculated and published on the university's website. |
| LLM | Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidates with a 3-year / 5-year undergraduate degree in Law conducted by a recognized university or equivalent degree. 2. Candidates with a minimum of 45% of marks under new regulations and (40% under old regulations), in the previous UG degree. Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected only on merit-based performance in the qualifying degree examination prescribed by the government of Tamil Nadu. |
