The inception of the School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) dates back to 2002, introducing a five-year integrated law degree course, namely B.A. LL.B. (Hons). The primary objective was to deliver high-quality legal education that matches the standards set by National Law Schools across the country. The emphasis of the course lies in cultivating professional competence among law students. SOEL maintains a comprehensive database of fourth and fifth-year students, readily accessible to facilitate various initiatives.

To further distinguish itself in the realm of legal education, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University has established the Student–Industry Interface Centre (SIIC). This center serves as a platform to create additional opportunities in the legal field. Notably, our database already includes prestigious banks and leading law firms. In a noteworthy achievement, the inaugural batch of Post Graduate students specializing in Business Law secured positions in banks through campus interviews last year. This success underscores our commitment to fostering meaningful connections between students and industry professionals within the legal domain.
