Central Library is part of the institute-huge community constructed around a fiber optic Giga-bit Ethernet spine comprising of 5 routing switches. The library is attached to the spine through one of the routing switches. Institute’s backbone in turn is connected to 100 MBPS of Internet bandwidth on leased links from Tata Communication. The library has one Server,16 Laptops, and other accessories adequate to cater to the needs of users. Laptops are meant for users to access OPAC, databases, e-books, e-journals, and other e-resources. The reading area in the library has been Wi-Fi enabled to provide wireless access to the Internet. Users are welcome to apply their laptops inside the library.
State-of-art centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 450, equipped with all the modern facilities required for E-learning through the latest technology to enable this student to keep them abreast of the latest globally emerging trends. Many events have been organized in the auditorium like national/International Conferences, workshops, training sessions, and Cultural & technical events.
The Computer Centre is equipped with best-in-class facilities to complement classroom pedagogy. It caters to the computational and IT-associated desires of academics. These centers are continuously upgraded to fulfill the evolving standard. Students go to the labs for their preferred and ordinary computing tasks. Many departments use the centers of the Computer Lab to behavior their sensible classes & examinations. New hardware and software programs are procured on a normal foundation to offer a country of the artwork computing facility to the institute With High-Performance Computing, an Institute Local Area Network covering the area, and facilities to the students for mini project work and summer training.
