Admission to all the UG and PG courses is done based on merit in the qualifying examination. The university conducts VMOU MET and VMOU B.Ed entrance exams for admission to the MBA and B.Ed programs respectively. MCA admissions are done through an entrance examination conducted by the university. Ph.D. admissions are based on the entrance test followed by a personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates having valid scores in NET/ SET/ GATE are exempted from the entrance test.
