Vinayak Rao Patil Mahavidyalaya was established way back in 1968 as a center for higher education in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. College has a spacious campus spread over an area of 19.36 acres. The college is affiliated with Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. The college is managed by Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal which runs more than 143 educational institutions. The hostel is located on the campus itself and can accommodate 105 students. The hostel has an internet facility as well as a separate library. College also has many associations like Literary Association, Science Association, Social Science Association, etc.

The Hostel is situated on the college campus. It accommodates 105 students in 35 rooms. It is very well maintained and has all the necessary facilities such as furniture, Sports Materials. The wholesome water for drinking & electric supply is quite adequate. One student representative is given the responsibility to monitor sanitation and overall discipline. Regular student meetings are held to discuss & solve their problems every month. Attendance is maintained in the boy’s hostel.

Vinayakrao Patil College Vaijapur is run by the Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Aurangabad. It is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. It is one of the foremost colleges in the Marathwada Region. It is established in the year 1968.

Library and Information Center was established in the year 1968 in a small building with only 931 books. The fifth law of library science namely “Library is a Growing Organism” is also one of the goals of our library today we have 80867 books. We also have 199978+ E-Books and 8393+ e-journals. We subscribe to 64 print and more than 1211 bound volumes of periodicals/journals and many other reading and informative materials.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a vast area of over 19 acres of land, which have facilities for Indian games as well as international games. Games like Chess, Athletics, Cricket, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Handball, Table Tennis, Wrestling, Judo, Basketball, and Mallakhamb. Our sportspersons represent the National, State, and Inter-University level spot events and bring laurels to our college. Apart from this, our college has a good collection of books in the library regarding training, Yoga, Health, Physiology, etc. The department also subscribed to Sports Star magazines for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

Placements

Vinayak Rao Patil Mahavidyalaya, Vaijapur has internalized the practice of training and placing students in various companies. Initially, there were a host of challenges and instead of crying over them, we explored the hidden opportunities in the setup. The first mission of the college is to make the rural youth self-reliant and develop leadership traits in them.

The fact that Vaijapur Tehsil which comprises 150 drought-prone villages deprives it of progress even after 70 years of independence. Since its establishment in 1968, the college has been the center of social, cultural, and economic transformation.
