Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology was established on the 16th of June 1975 under the Bombay Trust Act of 1950. The Trust undertakes educational, spiritual and social activities. "Vishwakarma" as per Indian mythology, was an architect-engineer of the Almighty God. The Trust has adopted this name with a vision to develop engineers who can take up challenges in a technical field with original work and creativity. The Trust has adopted the name"Vishwakarma" for all educational institutes.

Residential Accommodations:

The Hostel has transport facilities, Solar Heaters, Wi-Fi facilities, Medical Facilities, TV Facilities and many more. There is a separate hostel for Boys and Girls which has at least 100 rooms in it. The rooms have various facilities which provide greater satisfaction to the students.

Library:

There is a Central library in the Institute which consists of the latest textbooks, reference books, handbooks, journals, periodicals, proceedings CDs, etc. It also consists of Reference Section, Journal Section, Reading Hall, Digital library section, Multimedia Facility, Stack-Room etc. Photocopy Services and many more are also available in the Library. Book availability search in the library is fully computerized through the SLIM system and can be done from any LAN-connected PC on Campus.

Labs:

There are various labs at VIIT which are Civil Engineering Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Electronics Lab, Language Lab, Mechanical Lab, and Physics Lab.

Sports Complex:

VIIT has various sports provisions such as Chess boards, TT Tables, and playgrounds and many sports are included in the Institute.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

The Institute has 2 Canteens, 1 mess and a coffee centre on the Campus which provides healthy food to the students.

Admission

Register as a new user and then fill out the online form.

After that, Candidates have to submit the documents.

Select the Course and Institute before CAP Round 1.

After the final CAP round, candidates have to report to the institution and apply for admission.
