Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology, Vazhakulam was established in 2001 and is administered by the Diocesan Technical Educational Trust under the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Kothamangalam. As a vocational training institution, it has always strived to educate engineers and professionals at a higher level through innovative activities. Students from all over Kerala and abroad apply here due to the excellent infrastructure, experienced staff, segregated female and male hostel, internet connection, and reasonable learning environment. Today Viswajyothi College has gained name and fame. Six of its programs are accredited by the NBA.VJCET has a strong base of alumni working as brand ambassadors around the world. It trains undergraduate engineers in seven disciplines and offers three postgraduate courses and an MBA. 1,708 students are currently studying in various fields. This library is compatible with the open access system, the barcode-based distribution process, and the document search engine OPAC, as well as the web-based public catalog access system (WEB OPAC-IP-Based Access). This library provides uncompromised information and intellectual needs for its students and teachers with a user-friendly approach. It provides a fully integrated and dynamic environment for conducting academic studies. Multiple copies ensure that assets are readily available in inventory and directory services. Security cameras allow you to regulate the movements of users in the library.

Transport: 

Viswajyothi provides transportation services for staff and students. The college has a total of 19 bus services to various destinations in the Ernakulam and Idukki districts. University buses arrive on campus at 8:30 am and leave campus at 4:30 pm.
