KIITEE 2026 Selection Process Steps

The KIITEE 2026 selection process starts with the candidates registering through their online application form on the official website. Upon completion of the registration process, candidates can download their admit card and then they will have to appear for the KIITEE computer-based test. The test would be held in multiple slots, and the declaration of the procedure would take place in the online mode in the form of a rank card. Based upon the punctured marks/rank the merit list would be prepared. Based upon the merit list, the candidates would be shortlisted for the counselling process which would include choice filling, seat allocation and document verification.

KIITEE 2026 Criteria for Selection

The selection for KIITEE 2026 is going to be based purely on merit and will depend upon a candidate's performance on the entrance examination. For a majority of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the merit position on the merit list will be based on the score secured in KIITEE. Note that eligibility criteria, as applicable, will have to be satisfied (minimum academic eligibility, subject combination in qualifying examination). In the case of a tiebreaker, the candidates shall be assessed if they meet the eligibility criteria, and their score marks in certain subjects would be considered along with age-based and other predetermined arrangements. Only candidates who meet the criteria and secure a valid rank in the KIITEE will be eligible to be considered in the counselling process and offered admission.

KIITEE 2026 Documents Required

Candidates will have to bring original documents with them during the KIITEE 2026 counselling and admission process in addition to photocopies of the same documents for verification. Original documents that candidates will need to provide include the KIITEE 2026 rank card, admit card, and counselling call letter. In addition, mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying examination also need to be supplied (Class 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates for UG admissions, graduation marksheets and certificates for PG admissions). A transfer certificate (if applicable) and a conduct certificate (also if applicable) will need to be provided along with a caste certificate (if applicable) and valid photo ID proof. Candidates will also need to bring four passport-size photographs taken recently. The document verification is an important part of the selection process, as if candidates do not provide the original documents for verification, the admission for those candidates cannot be confirmed.
