SUAT 2025 eligibility criteria is decided by Sharda University. Candidates must have passed class 12 from an accredited institution to appear for the SUAT 2025 examination. It is different for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. To be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course, a candidate must pass class XII. To apply for a postgraduate course, he/she must possess a bachelor's degree. The applicant must also be at least 17 years of age as of 31st December of the academic year for which he/she is seeking admission, to be eligibility for SUAT 2025.

SUAT Eligibility Criteria for UG

General Requirements

Candidates must have qualified or appeared for the 12th-grade examination in the current academic year.

Specific Course Requirements

B.E/BTech/BSc Courses:

  1. Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
  2. Minimum of 60% marks in 10th grade.
  3. Minimum of 70% marks in 12th grade.

BCA/BCom Courses:

  1. Must have studied Mathematics/Statistics/Information Science/Computer Science.
  2. Minimum of 50% marks in 12th grade in aggregate across all subjects.

BBA/BA Courses:

  1. Candidates from any stream can apply.
  2. Relevant subjects like Commerce/Mathematics should have been studied in 12th grade.
  3. Proficiency in English communication is required.
  4. Journalism, Mass Communication, and Design Courses:
  5. Completion of Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% marks.
  6. Proficiency in English communication is essential.

SUET Eligibility Criteria for PG

General Requirements

Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of their Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream.

General Postgraduate Courses:

  1. Minimum of 60% marks in graduation.
  2. Candidates must have cleared national-level eligibility tests like GATE, UGC NET.
  3. MBA Course:
  4. Candidates with valid scores in CAT (65th percentile or above), XAT (65th percentile or above), or MAT (75th percentile or above) can also apply.

Additional Eligibility Considerations

  1. Final Year Students: Candidates whose results for the 12th grade or Bachelor's degree are awaited can also appear for the SUAT. However, their admission will be conditional upon the receipt of final exam scores.
  2. Exemptions: Candidates who have appeared in any national-level examination may be exempted from taking the SUAT. This includes exams like JEE Main, CLAT, and others.

SUAT 2025 Course wise Eligibility Criteria

  1. The pre-qualification criteria for undergraduate students are having completed 12th grade from a recognized board in India and meeting the admission criteria of the University.
  2. To qualify for undergraduate courses at Sharda University, a candidate must be 17 years of age.
  3. Foreign candidates must pass a certificate equivalent to the 12th grade examination. Such candidates must also meet the eligibility criteria of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SUAT 2025 Reservation Scheme

The entrance exam is open to all candidates. Sharda University has not laid down category-wise reservation guidelines. However, the university lays down reservation criteria for applicants, where a fixed percentage of seats are reserved for special communities/minorities.

Seat allotment is based on the score and rank of SUAT 2024. The fee structure is the same for all candidates. There is no relaxation in terms of age, fees or seats as per SUAT reservation rules.
