The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released the CLAT admit card 2025 on November 15. The CLAT exam date 2025 is December 1, 2024, and it will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode from 2 pm to 4 pm. This year, the CLAT exam will occur at over 133 national exam centers. The Common Law Admission Test, known as CLAT, is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the National Association of Law Universities (NLUs). It facilitates admission to the 5-year integrated LLB (UG) courses and 1-year LLM (PG) courses. The exam is conducted for admission to 24 NLUs for undergraduate courses and 21 NLUs for postgraduate courses. Conducted in an offline, paper-and-pencil format, the CLAT 2025 exam for undergraduate courses will cover sections on English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. For postgraduate courses, the exam will cover Constitutional Law and other legal subjects such as Jurisprudence, Criminology, IPC, CrPC, CPC, Family Law and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

The CLAT counselling process is completely online, including registration, announcement of merit list and then allotment of seats according to the priority marked by the candidate.
