Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham has declared information on the B.Tech admission procedure to its 8 campuses located at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, Nagercoil, and Haridwar. According to the update of the official website of the AEEE 2026 application portal - aeee.amrita.edu/portal, AEEE registration 2026 will begin shortly. Admission to BTech programs in all 8 campuses of Amrita will be done through the score of AEEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 scores. The website update also states, "Registration will begin soon. Please check back later."
AEEE registration 2026 will begin in October 2025. The AEEE exam will be conducted twice: Phase 1 in February 2026 and Phase 2 in May 2026. Candidates who have finished class 12 in 2025 and who will finish in 2026 are eligible to apply for AEEE 2026. The entrance exam registration process will involve registering with an email ID/mobile number and basic information such as full name as per records, date of birth, social status, contact information, Aadhaar number, etc. Once they register, the candidates must upload their recent photograph and signature.
Finally, to submit the online application form, the contenders need to pay the relevant application fee. The application fee levied during the previous year for the AEEE 2026 application submission was INR 1200 for those contenders who applied only through the AEEE mode or through both the AEEE and JEE Main modes. Those contenders who applied solely through the JEE Mains mode alone needed to pay INR 500.
Please observe that the AEEE 2026 application form shall be filled up only online on the official website - aeee.amrita.edu. There is no other alternative way to apply for Amrita B.Tech admissions.
The AEEE 2026 will be held in computer-based test mode in various cities of India. The registered candidates will be provided with an option to select three of their most preferred cities to appear for the test. AEEE will also be conducted in multiple shifts. Through the facility of slot booking, registered candidates will be provided with an option to choose their desired exam date and time.
AEEE 2025 exam will consist of Maths, Physics and Chemistry questions. All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and contain four alternative answers. Candidates can select the most suitable answer for each question for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. 3 marks for each correct response and -1 (negative one) for each incorrect response.
