The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result along with the list of toppers and statistics of "how many students appeared for JEE Mains". In session 1, a total of 12,58,136 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 4,24,810 were female candidates, which is about 33.8% of the total applicants. Across gender categories, the number of male candidates was 8,33,325, while females were 4,24,810. The third gender had a very low presence, with only one applicant.
JEE Main 2025 results highlight diversity and gender representation across categories. Talking about categories, the OBC category leads the JEE Main 2025 session 1 with 4,90,275 applicants, followed by the general category with 4,66,358 candidates. The SC category had 1,22,845 candidates, while the ST had 39,959 applicants. Notably, the EWS category had 1,38,699 candidates.

A total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for JEE Main Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) across various categories and genders. Of these, 4,43,622 were female candidates, with 1,67,790 from the General category, 45,627 from EWS, 42,704 from SC, 13,833 from ST, and 1,73,668 from OBC. Male candidates accounted for 8,67,920 registrations, including 3,21,419 from General, 96,159 from EWS, 87,550 from SC, 28,778 from ST, and 3,34,014 from OBC.
In addition, two candidates identified as third gender, one from the general category and the other from OBC. The highest number of registrations for JEE Main 2025 session 1 came from the OBC category with 5,07,683 candidates, followed by 4,89,210 from the general category, 1,41,786 from EWS, 1,30,254 from SC and 42,611 from ST.
