Admission 2024-25
UNDERGRADUATE: B.TECH:
Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the B.Tech program must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, or any other examination recognized as equivalent, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as elective subjects.
Admission to the college, as well as other engineering colleges in the state, is based on the Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh government.
POST-GRADUATION: M.TECH:
Candidates applying for the first year of the M.Tech program must have completed their B.Tech or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
MBA:
Applicants for the first year of the MBA program must hold a bachelor's degree (B.Sc./B.Com./BCA) from a recognized college or university.
Admission to the college's engineering programs, along with other engineering faculties in the state, is through the Common Entrance Test (ICET).
Admission Procedure
Admission Procedure:
- 70% of the seats are allocated based on the merit in EAMCET (Category A), and the remaining 30% are reserved for NRI/Management candidates (Category B).
- Allocation for Category A seats is conducted by EAMCET officials through online counseling, considering the EAMCET rank and reservation rules for professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
- Category B seats are filled by the college management in accordance with the guidelines of APSCHE, Hyderabad.
- Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry), or 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- The selection order for admission is based on the JEE (Mains) rank, EAMCET rank, and marks in the relevant group subjects in the qualifying examination.

Infrastructure

Anantha Lakshmi Institute of Technology and Sciences central library of the college is located in the New Building of the college. It is spacious, well-ventilated, and provided with adequate furniture. It is equipped with specialized collections of books, journals, and non-book materials in Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Management Studies to cater to the needs of the students and the faculty. A good collection of titles is earmarked as reference books and a spacious reading room is attached to it. The central library subscribes to many National and International Print Journals, E-Journals, and Magazines. It contains a collection of e-books. The Library has an e-learning facility. The Central Library has modern infrastructure to accommodate a high number of users. All the operations of the library are automated.
