Chandigarh University recognizes the Common University Entrance Test (CUCET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) Government of India for Undergraduates and Postgraduates programs and extends the exclusive scholarships for merit holders of National level test under the following details in addition to our existing CUCET Scholarship schemes.

3. Post Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST
The scheme has been initiated keeping in view the social background of the candidates from the deprived section of society and to provide them the opportunity to undertake postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, etc. in Indian Universities/Institutions/ Colleges.

4. Merit Scholarship Schemes for the Academic
10% of the scholarship will be given to the students with a 9.0 or above CGPA score if the student is not availing of any other scholarship. This scholarship depends on various programs.
5. Teaching Assistant Stipend
Teaching Assistant Option for M.Sc. and ME Students with Stipend of Rs.5000 to Rs.8000/- per month subject to a maximum of 10 months in a year.
6. Scholarship Scheme for Wards of Defence Personnel for the Academic
5% seats in all courses of Chandigarh University shall be reserved for the wards and spouses of Defence Martyrs and their immediate dependent members.
7. CU Sports Policy for the Academic
Special cases will be recommended for team games by the Sports Selection Committee. The team game should be considerable in the MAKA Trophy.
8. Kalpana Chawla Scholarship for Girls (Belonging to Economically Weaker Section of Chandigarh)
Kalpana Chawla Scholarship will be provided to only ten girls students belonging to the economically weaker section of Chandigarh and who have completed 10+2 from Chandigarh and are willing to study the course of their choice at Chandigarh University on a first come first serve basis. 10% scholarship on the total fee will be offered to the students every year. The total amount of Scholarship under this scheme would amount to Rs. 10 Lakh per year.
