The College is governed by the rules and guidelines provided by the university from time to time. The Principal is the administrative and the academic Head of the College. He is assisted by the Vice-Principal and the College Academic Committee in academic matters and the Deputy Registrar and the office staff in administrative matters. The day-to-day activities of the college are carried out by budgetary allocation from the University fund.
JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) became originally ‘The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam’ at the time of its establishment in 1946. It is now a sprawling campus of a hundred and ten acres, inexperienced with mango bushes withinside the rapidly growing Port city of Kakinada, East coast of peninsula India. Residential Accommodations:
The college gives hostel lodging for almost approximately 400 boys and 300 girls. The hostels and eating areas/ meals courts had been renovated on a big scale with all current centers.
Library:
The Library targets to place the motto: “Books are for use”, into practice. The library has Text Books, Reference Books, Special Reference Books, Magazines, Newspapers, CD and DVD Course Materials, Project reports, Back Volumes, etc. We take delight in pronouncing that we've got an excellent collection of books added to this, we've got an extensive series of Books in Placement cell and General Books, which assist to growth the knowledge of our college students in one of a kind fields like placements, competitive exams, and Research level works.
Auditorium:
There is an auditorium with a place of approximately 500 sq.m. connected with an outdoor theatre for organizing the features with a meeting of 500.
Labs:
The laboratories have been modernized and obsolete equipment has been replaced under the Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence (MODROBS).
Medical Facilities:
The college gives medical centers at the campus via a dispensary with a medical officer deputed through the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the helping personnel provided through the college.
Admission is based on an entrance exam conducted by the University.
The university doesn’t provide any scholarships to the students. However, a portal JNTU World gives the list of scholarships given by the government and how can their students apply for them.
