The Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY Scholarship) is a scholarship scheme offered to economically weaker students of Gujarat who wish to pursue higher education programs such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical, etc. This scholarship is available for application every year and aims to assist students who cannot afford their education fees due to their family's low income.

Eligibility Criteria for MYSY Scholarship:

• Candidate should be a domicile of Gujarat State.
• The candidate should be enrolled in the first year of the diploma/degree program.
• The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 6,00,000, including all sources of income.
• Applicants pursuing a Diploma Level/Graduation Level program should have obtained a minimum of 80% marks at Class 10 and Class 12 levels. Students pursuing Diploma to Degree (D2D) programs should have obtained at least 65% marks at the Diploma level.
