University of Technology Admission Latest Updates

Admission is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fees for University of Technology Jaipur depend on the program in which program you want to be admitted. The University of Technology is also accepting applications for Lateral Entry Courses and Distance Education Courses.

The University of Technology Admission

The University of Technology offers a wide range of UG, PG, and Integrated programs across various faculties, including Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Commerce & Management, Law, Arts, and Agriculture. Additionally, the university provides admissions to Ph.D. programs in these faculties.
For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination in the relevant stream from a recognized board. For PG courses, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned or relevant subject from a UGC-recognized University/Institution. Candidates applying for M.Tech courses must obtain valid GATE scores to be eligible, while for MBA programs, participation in national-level entrance exams such as CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA is necessary.
Admission to all UG and PG courses is based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Interested candidates can fill out the admission form online or download it from the university website and submit it along with the requisite fee in the prescribed manner.
Ph.D. admissions are conducted based on candidates’ performance in the Pre-Ph.D. Entrance Exam conducted by the University biannually. For research-level admission, candidates should hold a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
Applicants are required to fill out the Admission form on the University website in online mode and submit all relevant documents and fees as per the prescribed procedure. The University accepts applications in both offline and online modes. However, candidates appearing for state/national entrance exams need to register on the official websites of the respective conducting bodies.

Online Mode:

Candidates should apply online on the UOT website under the "Apply Online" tab.
Complete the online application by filling in mandatory fields.
Upload scanned copies of Coloured photographs, signatures, Aadhar Cards, and Academic Marksheets.
Upon successful submission, an Online Application Number will be displayed.

University of Technology, Jaipur invites applications for admission to its B.Tech and Integrated Courses for the academic year 2024. The university offers admission to the B.Tech program with specialization options in fifteen different fields. Additionally, interested candidates may choose integrated courses leading to degrees in MBA, M.Tech, and LLB.

Selection of candidates is primarily based on the merit of their last qualifying examination. However, for admission to the B.Tech program, the university may also consider scores from national/state-level entrance tests such as JEE Main.

University of Technology M.Tech, MBA and Integrated Courses Admission

The University also offers courses in M.Tech, MBA, and Executive MBA with various specializations. Interested candidates may also apply for admission to the integrated course in M.Sc. + M.Tech in Nano Technology, which is offered for three years.

Admission to M.Tech and MBA courses will be based on GATE and CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA scores, respectively. University of Technology M.Phil and Ph.D. Admission UOT offers a research program leading to a Ph.D. degree. The program is offered in various research areas across six faculties. Interested applicants should hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject and have secured a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. The selection of candidates will be based on the Pre-Ph.D. Entrance Test is conducted by the University, followed by a personal interview.
