Library
Located in the Bill Gates Block across the Ground and First floors, our college library spans an impressive 24,000 square feet. The library houses a collection of over 77,525 volumes across 25,156 titles, encompassing disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronics, Electricals, Mechanical, Civil, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Business Administration. Moreover, the library boasts 174 National and International Journals and access to more than 9,517 online Journals. All resources are organized according to the Universal Decimal Classification Scheme. The library is also equipped with educational video/audio cassettes and CDs on Science and Engineering, reinforcing our commitment to comprehensive learning.
Borrowing and Circulation
Our Circulation Section features five computer terminals with barcode scanners for seamless book transactions. Every library process, from issue to return and renewal, is computerized. Students and staff can also inquire about book availability, CDs, and Journals and make reservations in this section.
Acquisition Section
Responsible for acquiring syllabus textbooks and reference books for all UG and PG programs, the Acquisition Section ensures our students have access to the latest academic resources. Faculty can recommend books not available in the library, and upon approval, these books are procured from suppliers, verified, and processed for payment.
Technical Section
A dedicated space for technical activities related to new acquisitions, this section ensures books and journals are properly accessioned, classified, and cataloged.
SC/ST Book Bank: With 984 books, this section loans books to SC & ST Post Matric Scholarship holders, allowing them to borrow up to 10 books per semester.
General Book Bank: Housing 1,818 books, this section encourages continuous study by offering books to students at a subsidized rate.
Reprography Section
Equipped with a plain paper copier, this section provides photocopy services at a nominal cost, ensuring easy access to required information while preserving our collection.
Stack Room and Reading Hall
The multi-storied stack room features adjustable modern book stacks, all organized based on the Universal Decimal Classification. The reading hall, accommodating 250 users, offers a conducive environment for study and research.
Periodical Section
Showcasing both Technical and Non-Technical Journals of national and international origin, this section also features back volumes for easy reference.
Reference Section
With 5,000 reference books spanning various disciplines, this section is a treasure trove for academic and research purposes, including a collection of rare books.
Project Reports and Back Volumes
The library houses 2,768 journal back volumes and approximately 3,192 student project reports, all in pristine condition.
Multimedia Library
Designed for CD-ROMs, online journals, NPTEL course learning, and internet browsing, this section promotes multidisciplinary learning and research.
Network Memberships
We are a proud member of DELNET, offering access to online journals like IEEE and ASME, fostering research and innovation. Additionally, the National Digital Library of India supports academic growth by providing extensive digital resources in multiple languages and for various academic levels.
Audio-Visual Section
Enhancing communication skills and subject knowledge, this section offers a diverse collection of audio and video materials, including NPTEL video lectures.
IEEE Student Branch Library
Actively contributing to our technological focus, this section houses about 50 IEEE journals and transactions, available for both IEEE members and other users.
Internet/CD Browsing
Beyond the computer lab, the library provides Internet and CD browsing facilities on four dedicated computers, enhancing access to digital resources.
