the state government passed the VTU Act in 1994 which led to formation of VTU and its dedication to technical education.
The Visvesvaraya Technological University is a State University of Karnataka. Therefore, the institution is a public institution. In reality it was the State Government of Karnataka created the university in 1999. The school offers outstanding classes in the fields that include Engineering, Technology, as in Management. Additionally, it has one constituent college and 17 autonomous colleges plus more than 200 associated colleges.
The VTU began the process of evaluating the exam using its Digital system. In reality, it was the first institution to implement the changes to the exam procedure. It also offers a variety of online services. For example, it provides the papers for examinations, and sends results via the phone, and so on.
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is among the biggest technological Universities in India accredited through AICTE (All India Council For Technical Education) and UGC (University Grants Commission) located within Belgaum, Karnataka.
VTU provides 30+ courses for UG and 90+ PG and research programs.

Sports
VTU has created an organized and maintained system for outdoor and indoor games, with large galleries for 500 spectators. The games offered include snooker tennis, chess, badminton as well as cricket, volleyball and basketball.

VTU includes over 219 colleges affiliated with it as well as over 2000 departmental units operating for a variety of goals. Some of the most important departments are Aerospace Engineering, Applied Science, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Management Studies departments.
The university has signed MOUs with companies from around the world like IBM, Intel Asia Electronics and Nokia to improve the industrial interactions between students and instructors.
Admission
VTU provides B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), B.Plan & B.Arch courses in the UG curriculum that cover a wide range of disciplines. Its B.Tech, B.Plan & B.Arch courses are offered over the duration of 4 and 5 years, respectively. B.Tech (Lateral) classes last three years to finish. The entire curriculum is taught in a regular, campus-based and full-time mode.
The minimum eligibility requirement that the institute demands is that you pass a 10+2 exam with PCM and scores of 45% in aggregate from a recognized university. Selection will be made by analyzing JEE Main or KCET cutoff percentages for B.Tech. B.Tech program and for students in the B.Arch and B.Arch as well as B.Plan students, they must be in the cutoff percentile of NATA.
