What is GUJCET?

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is an entrance test that is held for shortlisting candidates for admission into B.Tech. and B.Pharma courses in different colleges of Gujarat. The exam is held by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). GUJCET is a state-level exam. The seats are allocated based on marks secured in the test.

The examination conducting body, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), holds the GUJCET 2026 examination in March every year. In the last year, 2025, almost 1.2 lakh candidates took the GUJCET 2026 examination, which was conducted in different cities of Gujarat. What's New In GUJCET Exam?

According to the official declaration by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board last year, two new modifications were introduced in GUJCET 2026. They are as follows:

1. Subject marks other than Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of class 12 will also be taken into account for determining the GUJCET merit list.
2. From the total of seats in government colleges, 5 per cent of seats will be accommodated based on JEE Main 2026 rank, and the rest 95 per cent of seats will be filled based on GUJCET 2026

GUJCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

GUJCET Application Form 2026

1. Registration: The candidates should register by filling in their Email ID and mobile Number. The candidates should also generate a password of their choice, which they will be required to use in the future for logging in

GUJCET 2026 Merit List

The GUJCET merit list will be published by the ACPC after the counselling registration. The merit list will be prepared with reference to the marks of GUJCET. Candidates will be able to view their position/rank in the GUJCET 2026 merit list online from the official website gujacpc.nic.in. The first merit list will have the candidates who will appear in the GUJCET exam. The merit list will be based on 60% weightage of marks secured in class 12 and 40% weightage of percentile marks secured in the GUJCET exam.
The Second GUJCET merit list 2026 will be made for those candidates who sit in JEE Main. The merit will be made with the 60% weightage of PCM marks obtained after completing it to 100, along with the 40% weightage of percentile marks received in the JEE Main exam.

GUJCET 2026 Exam Counselling
