Candidates are being offered some helpful tips to prepare for the GUJCET 2026 exam. Go through the tips to prepare for the exam.
Check GUJCET Syllabus and Exam Pattern: First of all, it is extremely crucial to know the syllabus and exam pattern. Knowing the syllabus will make you realise the subjects that will be covered in the exam. Knowing the exam pattern will make the students aware of the kind of questions, how many questions there will be, marking scheme of the exam.
Draw up a Timetable: Candidates can enhance their exam preparation and prepare themselves well for the exam by preparing a timetable and adhering to it rigorously. According to the level of difficulty of different topics, candidates can allocate time for each topic discussed in the syllabus. They should ensure that learning, practice, and revision are all included in the timetable.
Understanding the Concepts: Most students memorise the concepts rather than understand. This will not benefit them in using the concepts to solve the numerical problems. The candidates will struggle to recall the concepts for a longer duration if they do not comprehend the concept.
Take Important Notes: Students must make their own small notes chapter-wise while studying. These notes must contain the key formulas and theorems. These notes will be highly beneficial for the ultimate revision before the GUJCET 2026 exam.
Practice Previous Years' Question Papers: Previous years' question papers and sample papers are the most effective resources to score well in the examination. Practice of previous years' GUJCET question papers will enhance their speed and confidence in solving the questions. Besides, it is helpful to know the weak areas that require greater attention. Previous years' question papers are useful to know the nature of questions and frequently asked questions.
Utilise Online Tools: The internet is readily available for most students at present. There are various study materials online for GUJCET. It encompasses solutions to questions, mock tests, video tutorials, etc. The students must utilise these tools judiciously to get high marks in the examination. They must not waste their valuable time using mobile phones and playing online games. They must also avoid social media and television.
The GUJCET previous year question paper PDF is available here. GUJCET students can download the question paper to practice and solve for the next exam. Old year GUJCET question papers of 2021, 2020 will help students in understanding the difficulty of the exam and the weightage of chapters of the syllabus. The student needs to solve GUJCET 2026 question papers to assess their preparation for the test.

The exam conducting authority, Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), publishes the GUJCET 2026 Cutoff on its website once the exam is conducted. The GUJCET cutoff contains opening and closing ranks (AIR) within which admission has been given to colleges. The GUJCET 2026 cutoff is published round-wise. Here, one may also check the GUJCET cutoff 2025 as well as previous years. The GUJCET cutoff is of opening and closing ranks of different institutes and branches. The opening and closing ranks between which the participating institutes offer admission are referred to as the cutoff. Below is the GUJCET cutoff of previous years to enable candidates to understand the opening and closing ranks for different colleges and courses. Students applying for admission in the engineering courses provided by different GUJCET participating colleges need to pass through the GUJCET previous year cutoffs. The cutoffs will provide them with insights regarding their possibility of applying for their desired college and course based on their ranks. Students with a rank that is less than or equal to the exam cutoffs will find an opportunity to apply for admission. The cut-off at GUJCET will vary according to the category of the candidate, the institute where they want to take admissions, and the course they wish to pursue. Different criteria decide GUJCET cut-offs, which can be accessed below.
The cutoff is determined by counselling authorities and institutes based on several factors. Given below are a few of the parameters that will be the basis of the cutoff for GUJCET 2026. This means that clearing the written test would not ensure a successful admission, but the candidate needs to have a rank that lies between the opening and closing ranks of that specific course and the GUJCET participating institution.
The ACPC has released the GUJCET Cutoff 2025. Candidates can check the cutoff from the table below:
