Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) will release the JKCET 2025 application form in May 2025. JKCET 2025 will be held in June 2025. (CET) is a common entrance test conducted to secure admission to undergraduate engineering degree courses offered by government institutions and private colleges in J&K. Moreover, this is another state-level entrance exam for JKCET which has also been conducted in offline mode. The exam consists of 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each having 60 questions (total 180 questions) and a time limit of 3.00 hours is applicable. Each question is of multiple choice objective type and carries 1 mark. Also, there is a negative mark of 0.25 for incorrect answers. Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted in pencil and paper format. It is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Examinations (JKOBPEE) to fill the undergraduate engineering seats in various government and private institutions in J&K. The exam is taken by the candidates who have passed or appeared for the 10+2 examinations in the current year as in the case of JKCET. JKCET Admit Card 2025 will be released in the fourth week of May 2025. It will be released through online mode. After the conclusion of JKCET answer key will be released on the BOPEE website in the evening of the day of conduct of the test or till noon of the next day. The JKCET answer key will be available on the website for three days so that a candidate who finds any discrepancy between the question paper and the JKCET answer key can file a grievance along with the relevant proof from the standard textbook within three working days of the completion of the test.
To challenge the JKCET answer key, candidates must visit the BOPEE office in Srinagar or Jammu accompanied by a payment receipt of INR 1000 per grievance per document. The grievance fee is to be paid at the POS terminal of the J&K BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar.
JKCET Final Answer Key 2025: The grievances will be consolidated and sent to the experts whose opinions will be final. The revised key, if any, will be posted on the BOPEE website and no complaints will be accepted thereafter.
The JKCET 2025 exam result is published on the website jkbopee.gov.in. Candidates can check the result using their respective login details. Also, candidates who are not satisfied with their marks in the examination can apply for re-aggregation of marks. Aggregation of marks is permitted on a written application accompanied by a receipt of payment of INR 1000/- at the POS terminal of J&K BOPEE Srinagar/Jammu. The application is accepted within 3 (three) days of the declaration of the result. Any application received after this date will not be entertained.
JKCET 2025 Passing Marks: The minimum passing marks for the JKCET 2025 examination is 10. A candidate who has secured less than 10 marks in the entrance test will not be considered for admission.

The JKCET 2025 cut-off list will be released online on the authority's website. It will be a minimum qualifying mark that candidates must obtain to be eligible for the upcoming admission procedure. The authority will not send the cut-off list to candidates individually.
It will be mandatory for students to obtain a minimum cut-off mark to participate in the counselling procedure. The authority will prepare the JKCET cut-off marks based on various factors such as availability of seats, the previous year's cut-off mark, difficulty level of the exam, etc.

Candidates who qualify in JKCET can submit the online/offline preference forms for JKCET counselling. The online/offline preference form allows a candidate to fill in preferences for various disciplines/institutions for allotment of seats for admission in BE/BTech Engineering courses in Public and Private Universities of the UT of J&K/Ladakh. JKCET counselling will have 2 rounds and a mop-up round. A final round of special JKCET counselling may be conducted if required.
