The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved 14 engineering colleges to offer undergraduate courses in regional languages. The new rule will allow these colleges to teach engineering subjects in regional languages in addition to English. As a result, the regional languages of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and West Bengal will offer the B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering program in these regional languages.
