The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program is a five and a half year undergraduate course that includes a one-year internship. The syllabus and subjects of the MBBS program are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of medical sciences, clinical practices, and research methodologies. The MBBS program is divided into three phases:
Phase I: This phase is conducted during the first two and a half years of the program and includes the study of pre-clinical subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pathology.
Phase II: This phase is conducted during the next two and a half years of the program and includes the study of para-clinical subjects such as Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine.
Phase III: This phase is conducted during the final one-year internship and includes the study of clinical subjects such as Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, and Dermatology.
