The Faculty of Medical Sciences has been established under the provision of statute 9 (Nine) of the Statute of the University of Delhi and the Faculty has such powers to perform such duties as may be assigned by Statutes and the Ordinances and shall, from time to time, appoint such and so many committees of courses and studies in different branches of knowledge as may be prescribed by the ordinances.
The ultimate goals of all government actions are to promote human growth and improve people’s quality of life. The state needs highly qualified people to deal with health-related issues and promote good health. The medical education department is responsible for training medical and paramedical personnel to meet the state’s health needs.
The Faculty of Medical Sciences has been established under statute 9 (Nine) of the Statute of the University of Delhi. The Faculty shall also consider and make such recommendations to the Academic Council on any question about respective spheres of work as may appear necessary or on any matter referred to by the Academic Council.
The College is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and accredited by the University of Delhi.

Library:
The colleges under FMSc have spacious libraries with several books, journals, and literature. There is also a book bank facility provided by the college.
Hostel:
Students studying under the FMSc get a very well-equipped accommodation facility.
Cafeteria:
The institute has very aesthetic cafeterias, which cater to the needs of the students the best.
Faculty:
The institution is having 24 departments. Most of the faculties are having a doctorate and are alumni of some reputed colleges. There are more than 200 professors and Associate professors working in the institute. Each department is led by an HoD.
Placement:
The college does not provide on-campus direct placements from here but they place students in their government hospitals. The college only provides one internship course of the duration of 1 year in which students are being offered a stipend of around 17,000.
