GSFC University Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have cleared higher secondary education with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST) in theory and practice of Physics and Mathematics.

How to Apply for B.Tech?

• The candidates have to check their inter-se merit number on the website as well as with the Login ID and Password provided at the time of application on the GSFC schedule.
• The admission is done through online mode as per the schedule.
• The admission will be offered based on merit, category of the candidate, and availability of the seats.
• After confirming the admission through online mode, the candidate has to submit a hard copy of the application form, all required and necessary documents, and fee receipt with signature to the university within the time limit.
• No changes in the branch preference will be possible after the last date of submission of online registration to the GSFC university website.

GSFC University Eligibility Criteria

• 12th passed and scored a minimum 45% mark in aggregate of all the subjects ( 40% for ST/SC/OBC/PD/EWS)
• Students with 12th or equivalent from International Schools, affiliated with foreign education like IGSCE and IB can apply, and submit equivalence certificates from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

GSFC University Selection Criteria

• 55% and above marks scored students get direct admission on the first cum first basis.
• From 50 to 55% of marks scored by students, a merit list will be created based on marks obtained as aggregate.
• Students scoring 45% to 50% have to sit for an entrance test conducted by the University. Merit List will be prepared based on:
•  60% weightage -12th marks
•  40% weightage – entrance test result.

Note: GSFC also offers an integrated course of Bachelors and Masters in Science for 5 years. Students who have passed 12th with science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Zoology, IT, or others can apply to this course with having at least secured 50% in aggregate in 12th.

GSFC University Eligibility Criteria

• M.Sc ( Chemistry): B.Sc in Chemistry with a minimum of 55%
• M.Sc ( Biotechnology): B.Sc Degree with either Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Life Science, Biological Sciences, Agricultural, Veterinary & Dairy Science. Pharmacy, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or B.Tech/BE in Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering are eligible to apply.

GSFC University Selection Process

• Merit for admission will be based on the Entrance Examination (Written Test) as conducted by GSFC University.

GSFC University Selection Process

• Candidates who intend to be admitted to the Ph.D. have to apply in a prescribed format through GSFC University’s admission department. On the receipt of applications, an entrance test will be conducted for the eligible candidates irrespective of several applications received, which will be followed by an interview by a Doctoral Committee of the GSFC University.
• Scientists / Professionals with a minimum of 5 Years of experience and at least one publication in a refereed journal OR with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the Government of India / State Government / Corporate Bodies / Laboratories may directly appear for interview subject to fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria.

• Application form fees are 350/-
• The university shall prepare the Merit List of the eligible candidates who have applied for admission. Admission will be offered based on Merit, Category, and availability of seats.

• After confirming the admission, students have to submit a hard copy of all the documents with the Application Form and Fee Receipt with an attested signature to the University.
