Hislop College has one of the oldest libraries in Central India. It has a well-equipped Central Library with total 84354 (Senior, UGC & Gift) books. The collection comprises journals, books, magazines newspapers, non-book material such as DVD's and CD's and new learning tools such as INFLIBNET N-LIST.
We are pleased to announce that the college's Learning Resource Centre is having the most extensive and rarest collection of colleges belonging to R.T.M. Nagpur University.
Sports
The college field teams in diverse Indoor and outdoor sports. The teams of the college compete in the NCAA championships. It is equipped with ultramodern sports and Gymnasium facilities that is available to staff and students, as well as an all-purpose sports hall. Prior to the selection of each team, our faculty conducts pre-selection trials to provide every student with an equal chance to showcase their skills. The college also hosts games for recreation during an Annual Social Gathering of the college. The faculty gives great opportunities and warm guidance to develop your personality in general that makes them more competitive and confident, and instills within them a sense of confidence in leadership.
The department is led by Dr. Amit Kanwar, Director of Physical Education & HOD. Dr. Sanjay Ramteke is the director of Physical Education of Junior College. Department organises sports activities to support the mental and physical development of students throughout the entire year.
The games include Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Badminton and more. for both girls and boys. For girls and boys. a competition specifically for students of all ages and the scores are awarded and, based on that which team from the college are formed.
This college is home to a placement and training unit that offers a variety of programs, including tech workshops TCS approved courses training classes for skill development and other activities, including the placement drives. The Cell helps students be ready for work and has also provided the best quality of selection over time.
