MITSOM College was established in the year 2004 under the aegis of the Maharashtra Academy of Engineering and Educational Research (MAEER), Pune. The principal objective of this college is to provide undergraduate education in professional courses like Business Administration, International Business, and Computer Applications. 1. MITSOM Computer Lab

MITSOM College houses a centrally air-conditioned computer laboratory with 150 Intel i3/i5 processor dedicated workstations networked with two servers. Students have 24-hour free Internet access. In addition to this, the e-campus at MIT Pune, with 800 computers, is directly linked with the MITSOM College network with a dedicated lease line internet connection with a bandwidth of 12 MBPS. MITSOM College has two dedicated servers loaded with various software like Oracle, Visual Studio, Advanced Java, Page Maker, Corel Draw, Linux, etc which are accessible from all workstations. Qualified lab assistants are readily available to guide and instruct students.

2. MITSOM Cafeteria/Relaxation Room

A full-fledged cafeteria is available on the campus. In addition, a relaxation room is also provided to the students within the MITSOM College building itself where tea, coffee, snacks, soft drinks, etc are available. Multimedia facilities are also made available in the relaxation room. The provision of news channels and educational and documentary films facilitate students to relax and garner some useful information during scheduled breaks.

3. MITSOM LIBRARY

MITSOM College Library has a collection of 7950 books on BBA, BBA (CA), BBA (IB) & MCA Commerce. It subscribes to over 43 National and International journals/magazines. The Library also has a collection of CDs, DVDs, and Audio/Video Cassettes. MITSOM college students also have access to MITSOM Library, MITSOB Library, MACS College Library, and Pune University’s Jaykar Library Pune. The library is fully computerized & automated. It uses software called “SLIM 21st” for various Library related work. The software provides OPAC facility which provides full information regarding books issued/returned/journals/CDs/DVDs etc. The library provides Internet Access and Online databases such as EBSCO during library hours. The library is a member of the Information Library Network and has a membership in the N-List program which contains e-resources over 6000 e-journals and 97,000 e-books.

4. MITSOM CLUBS

ADVENTURE & TREKKING CLUB
Adventure is to conquer your fear. At MITSOM College, conquering your fear has a new address – The Adventure & Trekking Club. The club provides you with a mix of fun, adventure, and excitement all at the same time.

5. MITSOM NSS

National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched in the Honourable Mahatma Gandhi's Birth Centenary Year 1969, in 37 Universities involving 40,000 students with a primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service. Today, NSS has more than 3.2 million student volunteers on its roll spread over 298 Universities and 42 (+2) Senior Secondary Councils, and the Directorate of Vocational Education all over the country. Since its inception, more than 3.75 crores of students from Universities, Colleges, and Institutions of higher learning have benefited from the NSS activities, as student volunteers.

6. MITSOM MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT CENTER(MDC)

The Management Development Centre is established with a mission to be a nucleus of excellence in Management Education, Research, and Consultancy to provide highly energetic and professionally competent managers with positive attitudes, high values, commitment & dedication to meet the growing challenges of professional management needs at home and abroad.

7. MITSOM CENTER FOR RESEARCH & HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

What is C.R.H.D MITSOM College has started its very own research center, the Centre for Research and Human Development [C.R.H.D.]. The most important aim of the Research Centre is to encourage and motivate the faculty and students to inculcate the ‘investigative’ mindset so that they can reap the benefits of research and exploration. MITSOM College has three faculty researchers with Ph.D. qualifications and two statisticians for analyzing the data and an adequate number of equipment, necessary for research. The primary endeavor of the Research Centre is to share the results of research with the community for the common good.

8. WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CELL (WDC)

9. MITSOM COMMERCE-LAB

INCEPTION OF COMMERCE LAB AT MITSOM COLLEGE
A dedicated Commerce lab for the benefit of staff and students has been initiated in new premises to develop global competency and keep them updated with recent practices in the business world. Commerce Lab provides practical exposure to the processes and procedures followed by organizations in conducting commercial practices. The lab provides a practical orientation to students by linking the subject syllabi with practical training in the lab. The Commerce Laboratory is equipped with the latest teaching aids such as a projector, video camera, and Laptop. Charts, Models, and Magazines prepared by students are displayed for the benefit of all. Again, an all-out effort is being made to install the laboratory with the latest gadgets. The Lab is also used for interaction with peers from other institutes. Students also participate in group discussions, interviews, presentations, etc. arranged here from time to time. The lab’s membership and facility come at no extra cost for the students and staff of MITSOM College. With the commerce lab, the college aims to stress the importance of practical application of knowledge gained through theory, among students and faculty.

10. MITSOM INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CELL

MITSOM College is a dream destination for the Foreign Students coming from far corners of the world to India, which is reflected by the steep increase in the total number of students since 2004.
The College has students mainly from Asian and South East Asian countries. We also have students from the African continent. MITSOM College currently has the largest strength of 40 students from Afghanistan followed by Nepal having 17 students studying in the college.

The mental pressure and tensions arising out of the fast-paced modern life can only be released in the playground. Therefore, it is imperative to inculcate a healthy diet and fitness routine in today's world.
