The Oriental University was established in 1995 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It was it's the only Private institution in Indore. Since May 2011, the Indore University has been granted university status it was granted the status of a university under Section 2f in the UGC Act of 1956. Later. The entry requirements for technical courses for undergraduates is by way of the national level test JEE with a minimum score of 12th standard.
