About Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University New Delhi

Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is the first Pharmacy University in India and the third, in the world, established by Act 07 of 2008 State legislature of Delhi and functional from 2015. It is a 100% grant-in-aid State Government University recognized under 2f and Section 22 of the UGC.

The University has a legacy of fifty-seven years starting with the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) in 1964 to College of Pharmacy in 1972 and then the institute Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) in 2004 that got converted into DPSRU as it stands now.

This college offers both research and teaching in the pharmaceutical sciences and is affiliated with the Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University. It is a public institution that provides a high standard of education. In addition to the DIPST program, DIPST offers a master's in pharmacy.

Antifertility and Infertility, Indian System of Medicine, Herbal Drug Technology, Clinical Research, Cardiovascular Research, Quality Assurance, etc. Each department possesses its own lab space furnished with highly sophisticated instruments for post graduates and Ph.D. researchers in addition to basic requirements for practical training of undergraduates.

Air-conditioned library enriched with thousands of books, journals and magazines from various disciplines of Pharmacy is accessible. All the Dipsarians have Internet facility at their disposal round the clock through two Information Technology Centers equipped with more than 100 computers.
