The Vivekananda Global University offers Diploma, UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses across various fields including Law, International Trade and Commerce, Design, Management, Computer Science and Applications, Engineering & Technology, Basic & Applied Sciences, and Architecture & Planning. For admission to its various UG, PG, and Diploma programs, the University conducts the national-level entrance exam VGUCET. This entrance exam also serves as a platform to provide scholarships to meritorious and deserving candidates. VGUCET 2024 will be conducted nationwide and will be administered in an online mode (Computer/Mobile Based Test).

For admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) program, Vivekananda Global University conducts an entrance exam called Design Aptitude Test (DE-CODE). This exam is exclusively held online and consists of two papers:
Paper 1: Aptitude Test (60 minutes)
Paper 2: Creativity Test (120 minutes)

Candidates seeking admission to PG courses must possess a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.
For professional programs such as MBA, candidates must sit for entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, XAT, or MAT, followed by a Group Discussion and Interview.
Admission to M.Tech programs mandates a commendable score in GATE.
Admission to M.Sc and M.Des programs is contingent upon performance in AIFSET/NEET.
The university administers its entrance exam, PGAT, for admission into other PG courses.

At the doctoral level, VGU provides a Ph.D. program across 17 streams, available in both full-time and part-time modes. Applicants with a master's degree and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks are eligible for admission. Final admission is contingent upon the university's entrance test, supplemented by an interview. Consideration is also given to candidates' academic history, professional experience (if applicable), and statement of purpose (SOP).
