The MBA program at Anna University was started in the year 1981. Ever since its inception, the Department of Management Studies (DOMS) has produced capable, competent, and committed professionals. It has one centralized air-conditioned amphitheater classroom, apart from which there are two syndicate rooms. The classrooms are equipped with OHP’s, computers, and LCD projectors to facilitate teaching and learning. The department also has a Closed-circuit television facility which can be utilized for recording and playback of exercises. The computer center houses a computer lab having nearly 20 systems with a 24-hour internet facility. The computer lab also has a dedicated help desk for software and hardware queries. Printing facilities, Photocopying, and scanning facilities are also available. The students of DoMS can also make use of Wi-Fi which is enabled throughout the campus with dedicated bandwidth for internet connectivity.

The University Library, which was established in the year 1978 gained autonomy in December 2000. It is housed in a two-storeyed new Building located on the eastern side of the main campus. The total area of the Library building is about 4122 sq. meters large. Many knowledge-based services like Reference, Bibliography, MALIBNET service, DELNET, Reprography, CD-ROM Databases, Internet browsing, and e-services are provided by the library for its users.
