Admission 2024-25
For undergraduate admissions, candidates are selected based on merit. For postgraduate admissions, candidates are selected through the AIEEA PG entrance exam.
For undergraduate courses, candidates must have a minimum qualification of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, scoring at least 50% aggregate marks. For postgraduate courses, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) is required.
GADVASU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in GADVASU's B.Tech courses must have a 10+2 passing certificate. Both medical and non-medical stream students can apply.
GADVASU B.Tech Selection Process:
Selection is based on merit. Candidates with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 exams will be given priority. Vacant seats will be filled by the remaining students based on their selection.
GADVASU M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have a B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/Food Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Food Technology (4-year degree)/B.Sc. (Food Technology)(4-year degree) or equivalent degree with a minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute.
GADVASU M.Tech Selection Criteria:
Admission to the M.Tech programs is based solely on merit. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be able to seek admission if their names appear in the merit list.
PG Admissions for Inservice Candidates:
For admission to any PG courses in any of the constituent colleges of GADVASU, in-service candidates must have an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of 5.50 (out of 10.00) and a minimum of two years of professional work experience post-graduation.
Candidates can apply for any of the M.V.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech programs based on the qualifying degree obtained during their graduation.

PhD Admissions for Inservice Candidates:
For admission to the PhD program in any of the constituent colleges of GADVASU, in-service candidates must be employees of a University, National Institute, Punjab government, UT of Chandigarh, or Central government, with a minimum of five years of professional teaching/research experience in the relevant field.
Candidates can apply for any of the M.V.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech programs based on the qualifying degree obtained during their graduation.
Admission Procedure

National Talent Scholarships:
ICAR/VCI provides these merit scholarships to students in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the entire duration of their degree. The scholarship amount is approximately Rs. 2000 per month for UG students and Rs. 3000 per month for PG students.
Sports Scholarships:
