About Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR) Pune

The Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR) was established by the Poona Institute of Science in 1984 to meet the growing need for management education and training. Recognized by the University of Pune, the institute not only offers postgraduate courses for various management courses at the university but also offers research consultancy in the field of management fields. 

Most of our alumni are and hold senior administrative positions in various leading corporate bodies and business organizations, as well as in other fields.

Institute of Business Management and Research has a large and well-maintained campus and offers a tranquil learning environment. The buildings are modern and equipped with the latest technology from the Institute of Business Management and Research, which facilitates teaching and teacher development. Library: 

The IBMR Library is the college's most dynamic place to learn and deepen your knowledge. From the beginning, he methodically built up a collection of books and magazines. It is rich in collections consisting of handbooks, handbooks, magazines, professional journals, general books, competition books, etc. He is also a subscriber to E-Zine packages E-Granthalaya Library and Information Management Software. The Internet Public Access Catalog (OPAC) allows library users to search the book database by title, publication by author, and so on. The library uses the Dewey Decimal classification system. 

Computer room: 

IBMR - Wakad has two huge computer labs with over 150 computers to accommodate and run the maximum number of courses back-to-back. The labs are well equipped with state-of-the-art computers and standard business software, so students do not have to worry about a lack of knowledge in their field. 

Digital Classroom: 

The spacious and well-ventilated classroom accommodates more than 120 students. The classroom is a learning space in which we enable interactive learning processes with digital tools. Our classrooms are well equipped with overhead and LCD projectors and a sound system with adequate laptop power. The furniture used in the classrooms is of good quality to provide students with 5 hours of comfortable and continuous learning. 

Auditorium: 

The institute has a huge auditorium with a capacity of more than 300 people, where numerous cultural events are organized. The auditorium is a space that encourages creativity and encourages communication. Various conferences, guest lectures, and various additions take place in the hall. The auditorium has a very advanced sound system. A digital video projector is also available for better and enriching communication. 

Canteen: 

The IBMR-Wakad canteen is available for a quick snack during college hours. For a cup of tea or lunch, you can go to the cafeteria. A selection of food including pastries, South Indian dishes, breakfast, and lunch is available. In the cafeteria, attention is paid to cleanliness and hygiene, so that students do not have to worry about the quality of the food served and can enjoy it without hesitation. 

WiFi zone: 

IBMR - Wakad always tries to help his students in any way he can. With much of the world going digital, students need 24/7 internet access. We provide students with WiFi for studying and working on projects and have set up WiFi zones at the university that can be used after class hours. 

Gymnasium: 

IBMR - Wakad Gym is fully equipped to offer its students all the amenities of a versatile gym. Because the grounds were available to students, the gym was spacious enough to accommodate nearly 30 people at a time, consisting of a variety of weight machines, cardio machines, stationary bikes, and free weights. Gym membership is available to students for a small fee. 

Sports: 

IBMR – Wakad not only offers the best education, but we also encourage students to participate in many extracurricular activities. The sports department of the university is available to students to familiarize them with the sport they wish to practice. Our students have won many laurels over the years and made the university proud. Basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, track and field, badminton, and many indoor games are chosen by the students to play. 

IBMR Pune Admission Process

The admission process at the Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR) Pune includes the following steps:

1.  Institute of Business Management and Research Application Process:

•  Eligible candidates need to apply for admission to the MBA program through the official website of DTE Maharashtra.

•  Candidates should fill out the application form with all the required details and upload the necessary documents.

•  Pay the application fee through the available payment methods.

2.  Institute of Business Management and Research Eligibility Criteria:

•  Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.

•  Reserved category candidates are given a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks.

3.  Institute of Business Management and Research Entrance Exams:

The Institute accepts scores from various entrance exams for MBA admissions, including CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, and MAH CET.

Candidates with valid scores in CAT/MAT/CMAT are exempt from appearing for the state-level entrance exam (MAH CET).

4.  Institute of Business Management and Research Selection Process:

•  Shortlisted candidates are called for a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.
