At the undergraduate level the institute serves Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) comprising a number of specializations with a duration of four years. Candidates seeking admission must appear for the JEE Main as well as UPSEE/ UPCET examination.
Candidates having a 10+2 level or equivalent degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are considered to be eligible for applying in B.Tech program.

• 85% of the available seats are filled through an entrance examination conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. The candidates are allotted branches on the basis of their merit through counselling conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
• For 15% seats candidates can apply for direct admission to the RKGEC. Admission will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying exam and /or respective entrance exam as per the policies of the University .
The Raj Kumar Goel Engineering College caters to Master of Technology (M.Tech) for the candidates seeking higher degree in the field of Technology. The capacity intake of the program is 09. The program holds a duration of two years.
Candidates must have passed BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant discipline with 50% aggregate marks.
