Library:

University Of North Bengal Welcome to the University Library, established in 1962 alongside the founding of the University of North Bengal. Our primary mission is to cater to the academic and scientific needs of the university community, which includes students, researchers, faculty, officers, and staff. The library houses an extensive collection of books, magazines, and current affairs spanning various subjects, tailored to meet the diverse needs of every university member.  Proudly the sole library in the North Bengal region, we facilitate research and higher education by providing resources such as books, journals, and documents to teachers, researchers, and students.  Our library, a three-story building covering an area of 2662.61 square meters, is complemented by an additional two-story outbuilding spanning 445.52 sq. ft. Located on the west side of the university administration building and the north side of Padmaja Park, we invite you to explore the wealth of knowledge within our walls.

Instrumentation Centre:

Established in 1978, the University Science Instrumentation Center (USIC) serves as a level II center, offering maintenance, repair, and manufacturing services for scientific instruments to students, researchers, and faculty across all university departments.  Operating at the request of department heads and laboratory supervisors, USIC also provides computer maintenance support to various academic and non-academic departments.  Engaging in repair, maintenance, manufacture, assembly, and other related services, USIC contributes to the scientific endeavors of students, teachers, and officials from diverse departments.  The center is also involved in instrument repairs before disposal, and faculty members often seek USIC to acquire new instruments, computers, or laptops.

Medical Facilities:

University Of North Bengal Health Center provides outpatient services from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and emergency services throughout the day. Services include doctor consultations (family doctor, ophthalmologist, pediatrics, gynecologist, pathologist, and dentist), medication, emergency care, referrals to higher centers when necessary, and laboratory services.  The center plays a crucial role in bridging the National Health Service with the university, offering preventive and promotional health services to students and staff. Regular distribution of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials online and offline, along with awareness programs, promotes health awareness among students. 

Sports Facilities:

Recognizing the role of sports in fostering physical and mental development, North Bengal University provides extensive sports facilities. Sports serve as a platform for people of diverse backgrounds, promoting equality and national integration. The university's Sports Center, governed by the Athletic Committee, adheres to a policy encouraging all students to engage in activities that promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles.  With a commitment to reaching all registered students and considering their movement and recreational needs, the university emphasizes holistic student development through sports.
