All interested and eligible candidates must be citizens of India while applying for the entrance exam. They must provide proof of their citizenship when the certificates are verified.
Candidates seeking admission to this UG program must be in medical condition including sight and hearing as required by the Commercial Transport (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000 (as amended). a registered medical practitioner at the time of the certification.
There must be no evidence of any disease in the eye or eyelid that may pose a risk of aggravation or recurrence to candidates applying for the UG course. The applicant must have good binocular vision. The movement of the eyeballs should be full in all directions and the pupils should react and adapt to light normally. Unaided distance vision 0.5*(6/12) in each eye or 0.67*(6/9) in the right eye and 0.33*(6/18) in the other eye. Assist color vision 1.0*(6/6) in the right eye and 0.67*(6/9) in the other eye.
The Indian Maritime University has not set any limit for the number of attempts to appear in the IMU CET examination process.
