What is AIIMS PG INI CET?

INI CET is the abbreviation for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi conducts the entrance test for admission to PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh). INI CET scores are valid for admission to 18 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. With effect from 2021, all these institutes admit PG students based on the marks obtained in the INI CET exam only. Earlier these institutes used to conduct separate exams for admission to PG courses. INI CET examination is conducted twice a year, in January and July sessions.

AIIMS PG (INI CET) 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements to appear in INI CET 2024 exam are given below:

1. You must have an MBBS degree with MD/MS/DM-6v/MCH-6v and a BDS degree for MDS courses from the National Medical Accredited University. Commission/Medical Council of India.
2. Completed the mandatory 12-month rotational internship/internship required for all INIs on or before January 31, 2024. Candidates completing their internship after January 31, 2024 will not be eligible to register for this exam
3. The aggregate of minimum marks for SC/ST categories is 50%
4. The aggregate of minimum marks for OBC/EWS categories is 55%.
5. Proportionately Handicapped [PWBD] Candidates of the above minimum size will be subject to the category to which the candidate belongs and will be applicable
6. Eligibility of Sponsored Candidates as per minimum marks in all MBBS/BDS Professional Examinations will be the same as mentioned above candidates
7. For Indian Citizen Candidates who have graduated from Foreign Universities, the NBE (The scores stated in FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination), which is conducted by the National Board of Examination) is considered instead of aggregate indicators. makes noise The minimum requirements are the same in this scenario as well.
