NIFT Participating Institutes 2025 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NIFT 2025 entrance exam for admission to design courses offered by NIFT 2025 participating colleges.

There are 18 NIFT participating institutes. These institutes offer the following design courses - B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech and M.F.M courses.

The combined seat intake offered by the NIFT participating institutes is 5,289 seats.

These include 4394 All India seats, 424 state domicile and 473 NRI seats.

At the UG level, B.Des has an intake of 3399 seats, while the B.F.Tech program has 652 seats. The Masters courses (M.Des, M.F.Tech, M.F.M) have an intake of 1,238 seats

There are a total of 5,289 seats (regular) across the 18 participating NIFTs. Out of the total seats, 4392 are All India seats. Note that under All India seats, any domicile candidate can apply. However, domicile seats are reserved for domicile candidates of that particular state.

NIFT Participating Institutes 2025 - Admission Process

Admission to the B.Des program at NIFT 2025 participating institutes will include the following steps:

Filling of NIFT 2025 Application Form - Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed for NIFT 2025 will have to fill out the online application form.
Issuance of Admit Card - Successfully registered candidates will be issued admit cards, which will have to be downloaded online. On the day of the exam, the candidate will have to bring the admit card and a valid photo identity card with them.
Conduct of NIFT 2025 Written Exam - B.Des and M.Des candidates will have to appear in CAT and GAT written test, while candidates seeking admission to B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech and MFM courses will have to give only GAT.
Shortlisting for Situation Test/Personal Interview - Candidates will be shortlisted for Situation Test or Personal Interview based on their performance in the written test. B.Des candidates will have to appear in Situation Test, while PG applicants will have to appear in Personal Interview.
Preparation of Merit List and Seat Allotment - Merit list will be prepared by giving weightage to written test and Situation Test/Personal Interview. The final allotment of seats will be done on the basis of NIFT 2025 merit rank and college choices selected by the candidate.
