The university has a training and placement cell. BBDU Lucknow placement cell comprises ex-corporates and academicians. The placement cell conducts placement every year for its final year students. The placements are conducted on campus for graduate and postgraduate students. Babu Banarasi Das University placement cell conducts various placement-related activities like guest lectures, group discussions, tests and mock interviews. The placement cell in association with Reliance Money Infrastructure Limited gives training for personality development, which includes training on communication skills, presentation skills, leadership skills and business etiquette. Babu Banarasi Das University placement and training cell has also signed MoU with Orane Labs and Reliance to impart technical and soft skills training.
The placement cell has relations with industries like IT, consultancy firms, core engineering industries, finance companies, R&D laboratories, etc. and invites them to the campus for recruitment of the students. As per the Babu Banarasi Das University placement statistics for the year 2020, 82 companies have visited the campus to hire candidates. BBDU Lucknow placement cell also provides placement facilities that include an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000 students, 52 written test rooms which can accommodate 1400 students, 5 GD rooms for conducting group discussions, 10 interview cabins and 500 computer-enabled workstations for online tests.

• Pre-placement talk- Companies are invited to the campus for pre-placement talks. Students can also interact with the employees and get exposure of the work culture and decide which organization
to apply to.• Resume submission- Next, interested students submit their resumes to the companies or to the Babu Banarasi das University placement cell, if companies desire to get them prior to their visit.• Shortlisting of candidates- Based on the academic scores submitted in the resume, candidates are shortlisted. Companies communicate this information to the placement cell, who in turn inform the selected students.• Final recruitment- Companies may conduct group discussions, case studies, personal interviews, written tests, etc.
for the selection of the candidates. Names of the selected candidates are announced and are offered appointment letters.
