Standards for Secondary Teacher Education Programme/B.Ed. Introduction
The Secondary Teacher Education Programme, commonly referred to as B.Ed., is designed to prepare educators for secondary/senior secondary schools.
The B.Ed. program spans a regular two-year course. The college has received approval from the NCTE for two units, each accommodating 100 students. These units consist of 50 students under the Aided Scheme and 50 students under the Self-Financing Scheme.
Prospective candidates must hold a Bachelor's/Master's Degree with a minimum of 50% marks, and they should have studied at least two school subjects at the graduation level to be eligible for admission. Admissions are facilitated by M.D.U., Rohtak /CRSU, Jind/ KU Kurukshetra / CDLU Sirsa. The fee structure is in accordance with university norms.
Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC, Handicapped, Women, etc., follows the policies set by the University/State Government.
