Accommodation:

The girl's hostel – Maitreyi – is 94,000 sq. ft in the area spread over 5 floors. The hostel has an intake capacity is of 373 girls on a double and triple-sharing basis. Sandipani is the lad's hostel constructed this unfolds over 1,53,000 sq. toes throughout eleven floors. The hostel accommodates 683 boys on a double and triple-sharing basis. Polytechnic is the boys and girls hostel building that is spread over 47637.37 Sq.ft across 6 floors. The hostel accommodates boys and girls on four sharing basis.

Sports:

SVV boasts one of only 3 fully synthetic athletic tracks in the city. An eight-lane 400-meter track surrounds the football pitch and is a haven for aspiring athletes in the nearby area, and the whole city. The most loved sport in India is not forgotten at SVV. With a large ground, a well-qualified coach, and world-class equipment, we have one of the best cricketing facilities in the city.

The Somaiya Medical Trust founded by Padma Bhushan Shri K J Somaiya in 1991 continues to carry forward his legacy of ‘Being of Service to Humanity’.pread over 28 acres, in the heart of Mumbai city, comprises a Charitable Hospital, Medical College, Physiotherapy College and a School and College of Nursing. K J Somaiya Hospital is a 550 bedded multi-specialty tertiary care hospital, with a comprehensive Intensive Care Facility including Neo-Natal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, and a state-of-the-art Casualty Service.

B.Ed / BA in Education (Minimum 50% Marks)/ Any other Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Degree (Minimum 50% Marks)/ Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (Minimum 2 years of teaching experience) (Minimum 50% Marks).
