Mar Chrysostom College of Education, Kanyakumari Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2006 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Teaching. Mar Chrysostom College of Education The college is approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and affiliated with TNTEU (Tamilnadu Teachers Education University). The Diocese of Marthandam founded Mar Chrysostom College of Education on 14/12/2006, the auspicious day of the 10th year of installation of the Diocese of Marthandam.

MCCE Red Ribbon Club

Red Ribbon Club of Mar Chrysostom College aims at building its capabilities in spreading messages of positive health behavior in an enabling environment and increasing voluntary blood donation by the youth. It also aims at harnessing the potential of the youth to equip them with correct information on HIV/AIDS.

MCCE Eco Club

Eco Club is a voluntary group that promotes the participation of students in learning and improving their environment. A Green Club or Eco Club is a means by which students and youth can organize themselves to learn more about this issue and take action to improve their immediate environment.

MCCE Arts Club

The art club is organized to enhance the art offerings in the classroom and to give further opportunities for the students to develop their artistic skills to the fullest. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The college advertises for admission in the local dailies as well as through local channels every year. Then the parents/students visit the office for obtaining admission applications including a prospectus The faculty members counsel the students and parents regarding the courses offered by the college and their future prospects. The filled-in application form including a copy of the Transfer Certificate, and mark statements of HSC is received from the parent or student.
