PE Society's Modern College of Arts Science and Commerce is managed by the Progressive Education Society and it is one of the most reputable colleges of commerce, arts, and science in Pune. The college has been successful in securing its position as one of the best colleges in Pune because of its track record of producing exceptional students taking on various careers according to their academic value in society. 

The most important objective of this college is to create and develop modern youth in the form of responsible citizens possessing multi-dimensional personalities. Library: 

The college has a library facility for all students. The Central Library of the college has established in the year 1992. Since the library has made consistent progress in terms of the collection of books and services provided. The library is well equipped with a growing number of books, journals, and magazines along with Electronic resources like E-books, E-Journals, E-Databases, CDs, DVDs, Audio Books, Library websites, Institutional repositories, etc. Library provides Open Access to all students. The library is user-friendly and techno-driven and automated with barcode technology and uses Open Source software. It offers various services along with some innovative practices which were largely appreciated by previous NAAC Peer team members.

Placements

Modern College Placement hosted companies like Capgemini, Microsoft, Cognizant, Tata Institute of Research, Deloitte, IBM, TCS, and Wipro, among others. The institute has a well-connected and strong alumni network that supports placement activities and provides training to the students.

Modern College of Arts Science and Commerce computer science department has a placement cell that works for both postgraduate and undergraduate students. The postgraduate courses, such as MCA, and MSc have an excellent record of 95% of students getting placed. The staff encourages and provides support to all the students across streams.
