Pravara Rural College of Education at Pravaranagar started functioning in 1990 and has since made valuable contributions towards imparting education and employment skills to students from rural areas. Sindhu, the college’s magazine, won university-level awards in 2015-16 as well as divisional-level awards in 2013-14 and 2014-15.

Rural students often face financial shortages. In order to maintain the continuity of their education, the college runs an Earn and Learn scheme. The institute also operates programs for Girls’ Personality Development, NET-SET workshops, and special SGuidance Schemes.

Laboratory

The Engineering college has fully equipped laboratories required as per the norms of the University of Pune and All India Council of Technical Education, (AICTE) New Delhi. Sophisticated laboratories like Software Labs, Hardware Labs, Wind Tunnel Laboratory, Precision Survey Laboratories, Microprocessor Laboratories, Chemical Processing Laboratories, etc.
