It has therefore been our persistent perseverance that the latest tools in the IT domain are provided to our students effectively and efficiently.

10 GBPS of Intra Campus Connectivity

The network of RNB Global University would have 10 GPBS of intra-campus connectivity. The complete campus is on Gigabit Link by deploying an Optic fiber cable network. This will provide high-speed access to all students, faculty, and administrative staff. This internet connectivity is being provided to ensure that the students achieve academic excellence of the students as envisioned by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India

Two-Tier Topology Network

The networking solution has been rendered by the University in a two-tier topology network. The network shall consist of a central core switch that is connected sequentially to the access switches to connect the various computer systems and workstations through a Gigabit Ethernet Converter from both ends (i.e. receiver end and delivery end). Apart from the procurement of high-performance and robust switches and the relevant hardware, we shall also make use of compact networking management and security software to ensure a foolproof networking system.

802.11N Wireless Technology

We have made use of the state-of-the-art 802.11N Wireless Technology and the Indoor as well as Outdoor Wireless Network is supervised by a Central Controller Unit. The University has set the course for the establishment of Unified Threat Management (UTM) by the Global leader in computer security FORTINET. The UTM security system has been installed to render Gateway Security along with Internal Security.

The entire networking system at the RNB Global University is being established by HP, the global leader in wired and wireless networking technology. HP has been ratified by Gartner Perspective as the second-largest Networking Company in the world.

Safety Begins At Home

Security and transport are two vestigial components that have been accorded the highest priority at the University.

As a University with a difference, instead of imposing restrictions on the accessibility and freedom of the students, we have devised a system wherein the entry of visitors, casual and contract workers, and other housekeeping staff into the campus has been limited.

A Secure Campus For Girls

We believe in leading by example in terms of providing a secure campus for all the students in general and the girl students in particular. We have ensured that round-the-clock human, as well as technical surveillance, is ever prevalent on the campus. Human Security has been handed over to a leading and reputed Security agency that engages professional security guards. Further, all the guards are equipped with walkie-talkies for communication.

The agency shall operate around the clock by enforcing cyclic shift changes among the guards. Further, the University endorses zero tolerance towards ragging. The University has further imposed a complete and unilateral ban on smoking, and consumption of alcohol and drugs on the entire premises.

Security System Designed by HP & CP Plus

The entire technical surveillance system on the University Campus has been conceptualized and custom-designed by HP. The surveillance therefore includes state-of-the-art CP Plus CCTV Cameras and the futuristic Point Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras so that the entire campus is under constant surveillance at all times. Further, the high-resolution footage from all the cameras is monitored through the high-end Video Management System (VMS).

Restricted Entry

Further, students are provided with the latest magnetic access cards that are tamper-proof and difficult to replicate. We have ensured that there is restricted entry and exit of visitors and access to all the entry points is through bio-metric access panels.

In addition, the University has ensured that all the entry and exit points are manned by a professional security team that operates round the clock with changing shifts.

Parking Area Surveillance

Further, we have developed a large parking area that is under constant human and smart camera surveillance. The vehicles belonging to the faculty, students, and visitors will be issued parking tags for easy identification

Transport

The University has acquired a fleet of buses and also hired the services of a transport agency to ferry students from different parts of Bikaner. The buses are for the comfortable travel of the students. All the buses will be GPS-enabled to ensure the utmost safety of the students during their travel.
