Sreepathy Institute of Management and Technology, Palakkad was established in 2009 under Managed by Sreepathy Trust. Institute was intended to be a self-financing Engineering college with a distinct identity and a center of excellence different from the many Engineering colleges in Kerala.

The campus being 35Kms from Thrissur town, the college provides transportation facilities for both students and staff. The college has a fleet of buses from various main centers.

Seminar Hall

An air-conditioned, well-equipped seminar hall with LCD projectors, Interactive Whiteboard, podium, etc, with a seating capacity for 120 persons. Hosts events like talks, and seminars.

Placement

SIMAT recognizes that the recruitment process is rapidly undergoing a transformation as employers are increasingly looking for candidates who are ready to be hired versus the earlier process of hiring fresh graduates and training them to give them the required skills. This requires that students develop better personality, analytical, and communication skills.

The Placement Department of SIMAT guided by a team of talented faculty members regularly conduct placement programs for our students so that they become totally employable. The placement training programs of the college are mandatory and involve all students of the college from their first year to their final year In order to make the programs more effective we have tied up with reputed institutions, who are leaders in using modern, student-friendly methods in delivering comprehensive training as required. The training covers a vast variety of topics like building Self-Confidence, Self-Appraisal, SWOT Analysis, Developing communication skills, Analytical skills, Setting career goals, public speaking presentation skills, Facing Interviews, Increasing General Awareness, excelling in Group Discussions, Resume Preparation, etc.

Admission

Pass the higher secondary or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and qualification in the CEE conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in Kerala. The seat sharing will be based on the decision of the State Government.

Seats are available for lateral entry to 3rd semester to three-year diploma holders who have passed the Lateral Entry Test conducted by the Government of Kerala.
