Library

The college has its library building that is designed to meet the requirements of UGor PG students at the college. The college has an additional library that is available in M.Com Honours/ M.com for students in the PG. S.P.M.R. College is known for its winners in the field of sports. There are regular games and each student is required to participate in at least one game. After the admission process, the college teams are announced based on the test results and a stringent selection procedure. There are arrangements created for indoor games. Players of different teams are required to report on time to practice and games. Absentees are fined.

Canteen

In addition to being adjacent to the Recreation Hall, the college is home to a canteen. It is located on the main campus and serves as a tuck shop for staff and students at a discount rate. Offlate Lipton Kisok is also set up.

Indoor Sports

Sports and games are an integral component of daily life on campus. Students are always encouraged to play in both outdoor and indoor games. The indoor games are chess carrom board and table tennis. Table tennis can be found in the multipurpose halls as well as the Girls' Common Room. Students must ensure the safety of the equipment they play with. To get them issued the items, they must verify their identity and present their identity card. This will be returned following their safe return games.

Computer Laboratory

The college has built an event space that is fully equipped with the most modern teaching tools like a video camera, projector, and multimedia equipment, laptops television, CD player slides, projectors for slides as well as a fully-functional public address system with the latest technology in line with the national specifications in addition to ISI specifications. Our goal is to give our students with a space in which he/she can go and be refreshed by not only the most modern technology but also take part in the regular presentation of lectures by faculty members as well as guest lectures. With this in mind, the Career Placement & Career counseling cell was established to assist students gain the most current information on academic, career, and work-related questions. To offer part-time jobs the establishment of entrepreneurs in self-employment schemes, and other related assistance are among our suggested areas of operation.

Stress Management Cell

Personal counseling workshops, lectures and, sessions are scheduled to assist students manage tension, stress and, emotional issues, in otop them learn positive values and inspire them to strive for greater values in their lives.

Remedial Classes

Remedial classes and courses are organized by the College to provide assistance and assistance to poor and needy students.

Scholarship

Financial Assistance and Scholarships

The College grants scholarship opportunities to students from Scheduled Castes Scheduled Tribes, low low-incomes Other Social Castes RBA, Frontier and, Handicapped students. National Scholarships and Loans are given to students by the Government of India. In addition merito t scholarships, merit scholarships are given to deserving students through Jammu University. In addition to these scholarships and grants, generous help is offered to students who are deserving through the Mutual Benefit Fund augmented by the State Government grants and UGC Funds.

The granting and continued existence of the scholarship are subject to these conditions:

Regular attendance.

Good behavior.

The production of income certificate.

Affidavit from the State Subject Certificate.

The scholarship will be awarded only for the duration of the following :

Academic Session.

Sundays and holidays that are sanctioned.

Permissible Leave.

Anyone who is applying for a scholarship must complete an application using an approved form that is available at the College office.

A father's income tax certificate or guardian must be issued by the Revenue Officer having a rank that is not lower than that of Tehsildar. The parent/guardian of the child who is applying for a scholarship has to provide a written guarantee that if their ward engages in strikes, or other subversive activity, he or she will pay back any amount in one payment.
