Symbiosis School of Banking & Finance (SSBF) was established to address the growing demand for a trained workforce in the Banking and Financial Services Sector. Given that a strong and resilient banking system is critical for fuelling and sustaining growth, the importance of having industry-ready manpower cannot be over-emphasized. The MBA (Banking and Finance) offered by SSBF has been designed to provide the necessary education and skill-set to equip students to innovate, manage, lead, and take on the challenges of this increasingly complex and dynamic BFSI sector in the wake of constant functional and technological changes.

SSBF is a residential college on the Laval Hilltop campus of Symbiosis International University with safe and smart hostel rooms for all with an option of double, triple, and tetra-sharing rooms with enough storage and study provided in the rooms.
Library:The students at Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance are provided access to the highly resourceful centralized library at the symbiosis international university which is rich in research journals, subject textbooks published by various national and international authors, magazines about every sphere of life, business, sports, health, academics, politics, consulting, etc.
Classrooms:The classrooms (tiered and non-tiered) are student-friendly with comfortable and large seating capacity, well organized and sufficient aeration, and a projector and whiteboard equipped to give a professional feel to the Banking & Finance program.
Bloomberg Terminal:SSBF holds the prestige of having BLOOMBERG terminals at the computer lab at SIU which is open to students and staff of SSBF to give them an excellent opportunity to enhance their skills in navigating, understanding, and analyzing various stocks, securities, and finance-related aspects.
Recreation Centre:Symbiosis International University is well equipped with high standard sports complex promoting holistic development of students and as such the students of SSBF have complete access to the recreation and wellness center of SIU, gymnasium, badminton court, squash court, pool table, table tennis court, swimming pool, football field, cricket ground, volleyball, and basketball courts.
Auditorium:The in-house facilities include a 600-seater modern auditorium and a modern conference hall.
Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance Pune offers admission to its MBA and Certificate Program in Banking, Finance, and Insurance (CPBFI) based on the following criteria:
For MBA in Banking and Finance:
• Register online for the SNAP test by visiting the official website of Symbiosis International University and paying the application fee of INR 1,950.
• After registering for SNAP, you need to separately register online for SSBF by paying an additional fee of INR 1,000.
• Appear for the SNAP Test on the scheduled date and time.
For CPBFI:
• Fill up the application form available on the official website of SSBF.
• Pay the application fee of INR 3,000 through Net Banking.
For MBA in Banking and Finance:
Candidates must have completed Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Additionally, they must obtain a valid score on the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). Candidates with qualifying degrees from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/qualifications must be verified by AIU.
For CPBFI:
Candidates must have completed Graduation or Post Graduation from a recognized board.
For MBA in Banking and Finance:
Candidates are required to appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), conducted by Symbiosis International University.
For MBA in Banking and Finance:
The selection process is based on the SNAP test score. Shortlisted candidates will be called for further rounds of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection will be made based on the candidate's performance in SNAP, GD, and PI.
For CPBFI:
Admissions to the CPBFI program are offered on a 'first come, first serve' basis. Eligible candidates will receive admission letters from SSBF based on their application and eligibility criteria.
SSBF's admission process ensures a fair and transparent selection of candidates for its MBA and CPBFI programs, preparing them for successful careers in the fields of banking, finance, and insurance.

SNAP Cutoff for General Category:
MBA in Banking and Finance: 60 percentile
This means that candidates applying for the MBA program in Banking and Finance at SSBF need to obtain a minimum of 60 percentile in the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)
At SSBF Pune deserving students have the opportunity to avail of various scholarships and awards offered by Symbiosis International University as well as industry-sponsored scholarships. Here are the details:
1. Post Graduate Merit Scholarships: The semester topper will be awarded a scholarship based on academic excellence, with a minimum GPA of 7.50. The scholarship provides a concession of 50% of the Academic Fee for the respective semester in which the student was declared as the topper.
2. Scholarship by University Sports Board: Symbiosis International University, through its Sports Board, provides Sports Scholarships to outstanding sportsmen and sportswomen. Five outstanding sports students of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU) are awarded a scholarship of INR 24,000 per annum.
3. Late Jayatee Deshmukh Award: The Late Jayatee Deshmukh Best Outgoing Girl Student Gold Medal is awarded during the conference every year. The selection criteria for this award include academic performance, achievements in extracurricular, cultural, and sports activities, and participation in social activities.
4. Late Satpal Malhotra Medal of Excellence in Business Management by Weikfield Foundation: This award recognizes excellence in Business Management and is sponsored by Weikfield Foundation.
5. Industry Sponsored Scholarship at SSBF: SSBF has signed an MoU with CRIF High Mark, a leading credit information company in India. CRIF offers a scholarship of INR 1 lakh annually to economically disadvantaged students based on their academic performance. Additionally, CRIF provides a trophy to the "Outstanding Student" each year, considering academic performance and extracurricular activities.
